Everything starts with a free consultation-at our South Patel Nagar office in New Delhi, or by calling / WhatsApp-ing +91 96259 66817. Our counsellors will go through your Class 12 results, your age, your science background, your language starting point, and your personal goals. We answer every question your family has about the programme, the costs, the visa, and what life in Germany actually looks like for an 18โ20 year old. If you and your family decide to proceed, you pay the first instalment of โน10,000 + GST as a registration fee. You are formally enrolled in the JSJ Ausbildung Germany ` batch.
Language is the foundation of everything. JSJ provides complete German language training from A1 (absolute beginner) to B2 (working proficiency)-fully included in the programme fee. Classes are conducted six days a week, combining face-to-face classroom sessions at our South Patel Nagar campus with structured online practice on the Edmingle LMS. Our team of trainers has successfully trained hundreds of candidates to B1 and beyond. Regular mock tests, individual progress reviews, and targeted revision sessions ensure you are genuinely prepared-not just holding a certificate.
โ ๏ธ A word of caution: Any agency that says you can go to Germany on A2 German, or that language ‘doesn’t matter that much,’ is not being honest with you. Your training organisation’s daily work, your vocational school classes, and your workplace communications are all in German. A genuine B1 is the minimum for a successful Ausbildung experience. JSJ does not submit applications until you have earned it.
Once you pass your B2 exam, JSJ assembles your application package: your Class 12 certificates (notarised and apostilled), your B2 language certificate, a German-format Lebenslauf (CV), and a Motivationsschreiben-a cover letter in German explaining your background and motivation. JSJ helps you write and review both documents. This package is submitted to Destination Germany (DG), our German partner. DG’s network includes 180+ organisations across Germany and Austria actively seeking Ausbildung trainees. They match your profile to available positions by location, sector, and start date.
When a German organisation expresses interest in your profile, DG schedules a video interview. This is typically 20โ30 minutes, conducted primarily in German with English support where needed. The organisation wants to understand your background, your motivation for choosing Germany, and your readiness for the commitment. JSJ runs interview preparation sessions to help you practise common questions and feel confident. If the interview goes well, the organisation issues a conditional offer letter (Ausbildungsangebot)-your training position is officially reserved. .
The visa for Ausbildung in Germany is called the ยง16d Anerkennungsvisum-the Recognition Visa. It is specifically designed for foreign nationals entering Germany for vocational training or professional qualification. Documents required include:
Apostille is an official government authentication-your board certificates need to be apostilled through the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). JSJ guides you through this process step by step and connects you with reliable notarisation services.
You submit your completed application at the German Embassy in New Delhi (or the relevant consulate for your home state-Mumbai, Chennai, or Kolkata-or at a VFS Global German visa application centre). Standard processing time is 8โ12 weeks for a complete, correctly submitted application. The most common reason for delays is an incomplete application-missing apostilles, untranslated documents, or a language certificate that does not meet the required level. JSJ’s document review before submission significantly reduces this risk. Once your visa is stamped in your passport, you are ready to travel. Your ยง16d visa is valid for the duration of your training contract-typically three years.
Before you fly, JSJ and Destination Germany hold a pre-departure session covering: how to register your address in Germany (Einwohnermeldeamt-required within the first 1โ2 weeks), how to open a German bank account, how your health insurance works, what your first week at the training organisation will look like, and how to handle any administrative questions on the ground. Many of our partner organisations also arrange airport pickup and initial accommodation support for incoming trainees. Then you fly. And your Ausbildung begins.
