The Indian private engineering college system has produced some exceptional graduates - and a vast number of unemployed or underemployed ones. The problem is not effort or intelligence. If staying in India long-term is important to you or your family, a German vocational qualification does not integrate easily into Indian employer expectations.
Additionally, Ausbildung requires learning German to B2 level - a commitment of 10 to 12 months of serious study before departure. A BTech requires English, which most PCM students already have. And Ausbildung is a 3-year commitment to living in Germany. If homesickness or family responsibilities make a long stay abroad genuinely difficult, that factor cannot be resolved by numbers alone.
