JET SET JOBS
Settle Abroad with Jet Set Jobs
This is the part that confuses people, so let us be blunt. A recruitment fee is money an agency keeps as its charge for finding you a job. We charge zero recruitment fee. What you pay instead is a refundable security deposit - money that is meant to come back to you as a committed candidate, not money we pocket as our income. That single difference is the whole answer to the question candidates ask us most: "if it comes back to me, what's in it for you?"
You do not pay everything at once. The deposit is collected in three stages as you progress:
| Stage | Amount | What it marks |
|---|---|---|
| Stage 1 | โน5,000 | A small commitment to begin - keeps intent serious |
| Stage 2 | โน35,000 | Paid as you move into the core training journey |
| Stage 3 | โน35,000 | Paid at the later stage of the process |
That is a total refundable deposit of โน75,000, spread out - not demanded up front. In a small number of cases, the final stage can be split further, but only with written management approval. The point is that the structure is fixed and transparent: there is no moving target and no surprise "extra" charge appearing later.
A fair and healthy question - you should ask it. The deposit is not how we make our living; it exists to make sure the people who join are serious about actually studying and finishing. Language training is a long road, and a refundable deposit is a fair, two-way commitment: you commit to the effort, and we commit to the training and support. Because it is designed to return to committed candidates, we can honestly describe the B2 training as free - the cost to a candidate who sees it through is meant to be nothing.
The phased design exists to protect you, not us. Handing a large sum to any agency on day one is exactly the situation that has burned nurses before. By paying in stages tied to your progress, you keep control, you are never over-exposed early, and you can see the programme delivering before the larger amounts are due. If an agency instead demands the whole amount up front on day one, treat that as a reason to slow down and ask why.
Here is the honest heart of this blog, and it applies to us and to every agency you speak to: a deposit only protects you if the terms are on paper. Before you pay anything, you should have, in writing: the total amount, the stage-by-stage breakdown, and the exact conditions under which the deposit is refunded to you. Verbal promises on a phone call are worth nothing if a dispute ever arises. Ask us for these terms in writing - we will give them to you - and never pay any agency that will not do the same.
