We use Linie 1 (Klett Verlag) for A1 to B1 and Einfach weiter B2 (telc) for B2 - the same internationally used books. After B2, students can sit a recognised exam such as the TELC Deutsch B2 or the Goethe-Zertifikat B2.

What is a good age for a child to start German?
Most children do well from around Class 6 upwards, when reading and writing habits are settled. We begin every learner at A1 and move up one level at a time; a quick counselling call helps place your child at the right starting point.
