Already Enrolled With Another Agency? Can You Still Switch?

Many nurses start their journey with one agency and later wonder whether they made the right choice - because progress feels slow, promises were vague, costs were unclear, or the communication went quiet. If that is you, you are not alone, and it is a perfectly reasonable thing to reconsider. The goal is simply to make the next decision with clear eyes.

Check what you actually signed

Before switching, read your existing agreement carefully - the answers to these questions decide whether switching is easy or costly:

• What did you pay, and how much of it (if any) is refundable if you leave?
• Is there a notice period, lock-in, or penalty for exiting?
• Which documents, certificates or accounts do they hold, and will you get them back?
• How far along are you - language level, documents, employer stage - and what would you keep versus restart?

Weigh what you keep vs what you restart

Some of your progress travels with you: your German language level, your qualifications, your documents. Other things may reset - for example, if you were mid-way through a particular employer process. An honest switch means being clear-eyed that you might repeat a few steps, and deciding whether the fresh start is worth it for you.
